Bangalow Rugby has a short but proud history. Entering the competition in 2003 Bangalow has gone on to win 5 premierships in succession from 2005 to 2009. Last year the team made it to the Semi-Finals before being eliminated in a game that many spectators recall as the most entertaining match of recent history.

With the 2011 season fast approaching Bangalow Rugby Club is on the lookout for new players to join our successful senior team.

Playing in the Far North Coast Village Competition, Bangalow competes in a pool of 8 teams ranging from Murwillumbah in the north to Yamba in the south. With the standard of Village rugby having improved dramatically in recent years the competition now offers players a great mixture of good, hard rugby in a friendly and social environment.

We welcome all newcomers to the club, both supporters and players. Over the years we have looked after many international recruits from all around the globe including England, Ireland, Wales, France, Canada, New Guinea as well as our fare share of Kiwi brethren.

Bangalow Rugby trains Wednesdays from 6pm at the Bangalow Sports Fields located behind the Bangalow Bowling Club.

Home games kick off at 2.30pm Saturdays and we regularly travel by bus to away games.
